God is not angry with you.
Wait! Don’t get angry at me or stop reading.
I know you think you have done many wrongs, andyour sins are too much—so much that you believe God should be or is angry with you.
Do you really want God to be angry with you?
I know deep down, your answer is no.
Again, God is not angry with you.
Your belief that God is angry with you has kept you away from him. It has prevented you from experiencing his love and mercy in every facet of your life.
Actually, it could be that you are angry with God.
In the midst of the tension between you and God, do seehis invitation to you.
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”
—Isaiah 1:18 KJV
God wants to work things out between you and him. You have stayed away all these years, but you don’t need to anymore. He is so willing to eliminate the distance between you and him that he sent his son to save you.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
—John 3:16, KJV
This act of God through his son Jesus shows that he is not angry with you.
An angry God should be sending you fire and brimstone, not love.
Dear friend, accept God’s invitation of peace. The death of Jesus Christ for sins, yours included, is the revelation of God’s love for you.
God is not angry with you. He loves you more than you can ever imagine.
