From our last post, we learnt that the word is God and life. We also observed that this 'life' is not biological but spiritual, it is not sustained by oxygen but in Him alone.
All men need this life, but not all have it, for without it, one is dead.
The nature of this life is indestructible and of God. It exempts the possessor's perishing.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 KJV).
To perish as seen from the aforementioned scripture, means to not have eternal life; to miss out on God’s protection from condemnation.
Is God relevant? Is life relevant?
Let’s look at another truth:
“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
(Psalms 107:20 KJV)
From the scripture above, we see the word as the instrument for healing and deliverance from destruction. This explains what God does and what the word will do.
Is God relevant? Do men need healing and deliverance from destruction today?
The answer, is yes!
Our world now needs healing and deliverance in almost every sector. From the family, as a unit of development to the heights of the society.
How can the nations be healed? By the word. All that God wants to do He does by the word. All He will ever do will be by the word.
If men receive the word, they will be soothed and find deliverance.
We have seen the relevance of God as life, light, and today, as healing and deliverance.
So, what do you think?
Is the most ancient the most relevant?
