There is a cry for help up north.
"Save us!"—they say—"From blood thirsty individuals".
Down south, mourning and terrible weeping,
as human lives matter less the more.
Corruption takes the center stage,
in a nation with great prospect.
Greed eats the very fabric of our unity.
Anarchy desires to take the front burners.
Change! Change! Change!
The heartbeat of the soul of Nigeria.
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”
(Psalms 122:6; KJV)
Only this time, “pray for the peace of Nigeria: they shall prosper that love thee.” (Emphasis, mine)
As always, perhaps now more than ever, Nigeria needs intercession.
Pray! Nigerians must not be pitched against one another over religious lines, or made to dance to the pipes blown by tribalism.
Nigeria is blessed!
Nigeria will not go down as a wasted nation. Her people will rise above the storms to bless Africa and the world.
Yes, we seek reforms in all sectors, and we will have them.
We must pray for harmony. Without peace, reform is a far cry. Without peace, prosperity remains a wish.
Pray now! Do not overlook! Do not procrastinate!
“Pray for the peace of Nigeria: they shall prosper that love thee.
Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
For my brethren and companions' sakes, I will now say, 'Peace be within thee'.
Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.”
(Psalms 122:6-9; KJV, Emphasis, mine.)
