The day is bright and fair. From our windows, we see the golden sun take its authoritative position over our sky, and only one thing comes to mind – begin the day's job.
And soon enough, it's afternoon. We navigate some more through the hustle and bustle of the noon heat. We get greasy, chase our dreams down doorways and finally, the night comes. If granted the leisure, we tuck ourselves under the sheets. And if not, the drive continues – late into the night –only to begin the cycle with the sun again come morning.
In today’s busy world, many of us feel so alone. For some of us, tomorrow is no longer sure with the rising number of cases around the globe due to the pandemic occurring.
The world in general, seems to be more cruel these days – like we slept and woke up to a barbaric age. We see men being less humane, swindlers at every push of the button on the internet, and at the same time, it seems everyone is in on one get-rich-quick scheme or the other. Let's not forget the very obvious fact that half the world is currently marketing onething or the other.
In all of these, there is a common knowledge pervading our thoughts these days – that there are many voices in the world. These voices are so much that one can be confused and forced to toe the line.
Today however, let me remind you of the voice to walk with: it is the voice of the Lord Jesus Christ. Contrary to popular belief, he is as relevant today as he has always been for all generations, perhaps even more so.
He says to tell you: “I love you” and “I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
– Matthew 28:20(The King James Version)
