REMEMBER WHAT YOU PRAYED FOR, DON’T SETTLE FOR LESS!

It is one thing to pray and another thing to receive. Nowhere in the Bible are we told that when we pray God is not able to meet our prayers. Rather we are admonished severally on how to pray to get answers.

It is common for people to pray and when they don’t see the answers yet, they claim God thinks otherwise. So, they quit praying.

Most of the time, people ask the father for an apple and when they see an orange coming their way they run towards it. They start thanking God for it. You hear them say; “at least I have an orange, even if God did not give me the apple”.

Hey friends, Father is able to give you what you ask for, with all specificity, tailored for you.

Remember Abraham? He had a discussion with Father for a son, he was promised a son. While waiting, he and his wife Sarah decided on a detour. So he took Hagar and had a son, Ishmael. This was not the promised son.

Abraham knew Ishmael was not the promised son, but he wanted one badly and he had. At this time he wanted Father to accept Ishmael as the promised son.

“And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee!” (‭‭Genesis‬ ‭17:18‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

At this point, Abraham was like “why wait for another son, when Ishmael is here?” He was ready for a compromise but not father.

Today, many of us are like Abraham when he had Ishmael. We pray for a thing and when that which we prayed for is yet to manifest we seek alternatives and some of us go as far as saying “heaven help those who help themselves”.

I want you to know that God is capable of meeting your every need, your wants are not excluded. Know your request and see that you receive every bit of it to the latter.

The truth is in Christ all that you will ever need, want or ask has been answered already. so why settle for less?
