Having put forth three fundamental landmarks: heart, words and tangible realities.
And taking a closer examination of our heart, (which isn’t the fleshy organ in the left part of the chest but the core of who we are) we established that there are three portals or access points through which things settle.
Last episode we started off with hearing and how crucial it is that we guard jealously what we give our ears to and to whom we listen. Still dwelling on this, it is also worthy of note that we identify the voices of men that ignite us, activate that which God has put on our inside and resonate confirmations in His will for us.
These are the dials we should tune to; these are the voices we should give our ears to, these are welcome through the portals of our ears (largely not the organs on both sides of one’s head) into our hearts.
And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy. And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Observing this narrative closely, we see that when Elizabeth HEARD Mary’s greeting, the baby growing inside of her leaped and she was filled with the Spirit! What a voice! What an encounter!
Why not take an introspective look at your life? Whose voice have you made the loudest in your life? What do their words do to you? Do they activate things on your inside? Are they in line with Gods word?
Identify the Mary (s) in your life today.
