Hello dear one,

For over 2000 years the life of one man, who lived, died, and resurrected on the third day has been on the lips and hearts of men. 

 

Such subject that has been repeated again and again should be clearly understood by now, right? 

 

Unfortunately, the answer still is "NO!"; a resounding one at that. Though many followers of this man have arisen: many have openly professed his Lordship over their lives, many have lived all their lives worshipping him. But they still donot know him and his ways.

 

Do you know the Lord? Do you want to know the Lord?

 

Many times we feel we desire the Lord more than he desires us. That's not true! He had us in mind before the foundation of the earth.

 

For many of us, if we can get all our needs met, then we will have no need for this 'jargon' called "seeking the Lord". We go to church so we can point to Jesus in time of trouble and say “I serve you, now save me”. 

 

While others seek to make heaven when their time on earth is over, so they attend church, talk church, and act church.

 

Dear brother, for all the reasons listed above, you have not been able to know the Lord for who he is. 

 

Jesus did not die just so you could go to heaven. He also did not die just so you could have your needs met. No! He had other greater things in mind. 

 

This is the season of Easter. As you celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord. Ask yourself, “what truly am I celebrating?”

 

He said, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah‬ ‭29:13‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

 

At different times and years, men sought the Lord and he was found. He always keeps his word.

 

Remember his promises are Ye and Amen. Let me spell in one word “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” : FAITHFULNESS 

 

He is faithful to his word and his name. Today, I urge you, get to know truly for yourself who this Jesus is, why he died and what is expected of you as a believer in Christ from the scripture.

 

The Holy Spirit will help you, it is time to know him for yourself.
