There are days when it seems like the earth beneath you has given way and the world around you is crumbling. When you feel like you've been left alone to crash and burn.
Days when you wake up to all you have built falling to the ground as a paper castle would.
Those moments when only you understand what is truly going on,and you can't truly open up to anyone, not because you don't want to, but you just don't know how.
And when someone who refuses to go away with the "I am fine" story you give to everyone, pushes a little harder to know how you are truly doing, you burst into tears, still not able to share your pain.
Times when every river in your life runs dry. When the person you have been married to suddenly becomes a stranger and you know you have to keep it all together but you just can't get around it.
As a student, you thought you had it covered. You had started so well at the beginning of the semester and now exams are here and you don't know which way to go, you feel empty.
“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!” (Habakkuk 3:17-18 NLT)
Wander no more! For there is an anchor in the times of dirty storms that come to sweep us away. He is the anchor of our soul. He is sure and steadfast and he wants to give you rest from all your worries. His name is Jesus the Christ.
Hear what he says;
“Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine.”
“ Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.”
“For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” Matthew 11:28-30 TPT
