DONT BE DEAD WHILE ALIVE ~ Part 2 (LIGHT OF THE WORLD)

Last week we saw it is possible to be alive but dead. We also pointed out that giving does not always have to be monetary.

Did you know that all believers are lights? Are all believers giving out their light? What does it mean to be the light?

Cast your mind back to when you needed light, say in darkness. Light helps us see properly, it shows us the way to go. We appreciate Images better because of light, etc.

If the believer in Christ is called the light and we mirror it to the above, it means the believer is a great help to this world, to help her see properly as she truly needs to see.

As the light of the world, the believer is suppose to be the one showing the world the way to go. The light of the world is suppose to be at the forefront of every undertaking in the world so as to show the world how to go about it.


I mean as light of the world, the believer is suppose to be in the forefront in politics, medicine, theatre arts, sports, music, administration, science, carpentering, busniness, etc.

But it is not the case today, every believer wants to remain in the church, become an apostle, a prophet, an evangelist, a pastor or a teacher. This ignorance is costing the church big time.

Everyone of this above mentioned sectors are crying out because of the darkness in the world, the wickedness, the corruption, the decadence. Creature is waiting for the manifestation of the lights of the world.

But the light has neglected her place in front and is comfortable in the backseat. The painful thing is that the light is very ignorant of this mislocation and very comfortable seeking help from heaven when he is the help heaven has sent to earth.

It is time for you, the light of the world to consciously take the lead. Bring your light to the front, and show the world the way. Stop looking up to heaven for help, as the light of the world, you are the answer to your prayers.

Go and shine your light in medicine, in scientific studies, in research, in arts, in music, in sports, in politics, etc.

“Your lives light up the world. Let others see your light from a distance, for how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop?” (‭Matthew‬ ‭5:14‬ ‭TPT‬‬).
