The heartbeat of creativity is the quest for a new and better way of doing things. Creativity takes a long peep into the future and brings it to the present. It certainly modifies the present.
The biggest adversary to creativity is holding tight to the old ways of doing things. Imagine if surgeries in medicine are still done without anaesthesia and informations generated from one part of the world takes months or years to get to another part.
One of the problems of Africa is the fact that she is massively a consumer continent. The success recorded in the western world is largely due to the fact that they produce enough to use and to export.
Jesus said, “No one who has been drinking old wine wants new wine. He says, ‘The old wine is better!’ ” (Luke 5:39 GW).
When we keep celebrating the old wine, they old ways of doing things, we will not go far. It is common to here words like “that's the way it has always been done”. Words like this are antagonistic to creativity.
Today, I advice you, take a peep into the future and be inspired to helping humanity find a new and better way of doing things.
Don't just be a consumer that holds tight to old wine, be a producer that seeks new wine.
GO ACHIEVE
