YOU ARE THE LIVING PROOF OF YOUR WORDS

I travelled home two weeks ago. Started my journey with a low battery on my phone, so I was forced to turn off my data when I was not using it to conserve my battery life, at this time my phone was on low power mode.

 Before I reached my house, my battery was dead, so I needed to power my phone to inform my family I was home. I plugged my phone to a light source and started charging, for some reasons I had to move to another location in my house to continue changing my phone, while in transit my charger fell from my hand. I picked it up, plugged my phone to light source and it refused to charge, "but this charger was working few minutes ago" I said to myself, I tried everything from going back to my former location and to no avail.


So, when my siblings came back to the house, I told them what happened and after swapping cords we found it was not my charger head that was bad but the cord. So, my brother decided to get me a new cord, and he did the same evening. At this point I remembered how I have been saying for almost a year now, that I will get a new cord for my charger when I visit home, as I have a trusted dealer over there. The cord to my former charger was very old yet functional.

 Then it occurred to me, I have practically walked into a future I created by my words. Otherwise, tell me the connection between a cord falling from my hands and it failing to work again? God spoke in the beginning and created the worlds, Hebrews put it this way; “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭11:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

 God created us with the same potentials to speak things into being, today, many of us are living the life our words of yesterday created for us. Words are powerful and effective in creating our reality. What are you speaking now? Do you know you are sowing a seed you will undoubtedly reap soonest

I close with this, "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love to talk will have to eat their own words" (Proverbs‬ ‭18:21‬ ‭GW‬‬) Now, we create the world we live in by our words, why then do we speak what we don't want to see even if it's a joke ?

 We must quit foolish talking that do us no good. Speak only what you will be happy to live with, create your world by your words. “A fool's mouth is his destruction, and his lips are the snare of his soul.” (Proverbs‬ ‭18:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬)
