There is a saying as " strike the shepherd and the sheep will scatter". This old line has been used over the years by men to initiate strategies meant to stop, overcome or overthrow a system.
It was the same idea the leaders of the synagogue used when they crucified Jesus Christ
It is not only men that have used this idea, the enemy, the devil is a master of this idea, many times he goes for the shepherd, for he knows if he gets the shepherd the sheep will scatter.
The shepherd is the leader, guide, guard, inspiration, breadwinner, or the saviors in a home, community, church or movement. Many of us reading this now fit into one or more of these roles.
See what the Bible says; “And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the Lord's.”
(Obadiah 1:21 KJV).
You are the savior in your family, the reason why your home is covered from the forces of darkness, you are the light that shines in your world, if you are born again.
I am not necessarily talking about providing money. But because of you, your family finds the strength to keep on, to go on.
You may be the last in your family, the least in your workplace or class but there is something about you that keeps everyone going strong. You are the shepherd I am talking about.
If the enemy can strike you, make you lose focus, make you give up, then everyone that look up to you will fall apart.
I am writing to you to keep the edge of protection, hope, inspiration, strength, and joy that you provide, no matter how little it may seem, Hold your side.
Responsibility is the name of the game. Stand up, stand strong, be responsible, and don't give up. Play your part in this success story.
