The world is crazy about purpose, truth is , it has no choice, for visions are in every nook and cranny.
Remember Joel chapter 2?, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:” (Joel 2:28 KJV).
The above scripture is responsible for the myriad of visions. What interest me recently is this, these days catching the vision is not the issue but sustaining it.
Many people's vision is like a hit and run thing, today they have a vision and are passionate about it and tomorrow they are looking for another vision.
They simply lack one of the ingredients to sustain the vision they received. I tell you the truth, they lack "Character ".
Character is one of the pillars that sustain vision. Vision no matter how big without character is like a beautiful car with no tires, it goes nowhere.
Character is that attributes of yours that was formed out of your daily habits knowingly or unknowingly. You will agree with me that their are many people out there with very clear visions that needs no announcement but you just wonder why they are not going anywhere.
Look closely, it just might be their character. It was character that made Joseph refuse Potiphar's wife, it kept him sane even in the prison and helped him become the prime minister of Egypt.
He had big visions from his youth but without character he would have lost it. You can't seem to pin what's wrong with you, look closely it might be your character. Today's message is for you to examine your character.
