I have seen kids run into the arms of their parents when chased or threatened by another person, say a sibling or a playmate. They run with all focus and certainty, knowing safety awaits them in the hands of their dad or mum, as the case may be.
We can all remember when we were kids, we had no worries when we were around our parents, we believed our dads were supermen, able to get us anything, protect us from anything, deliver us from every possible danger. I can remember my dad carrying a big bucket of water with just a finger and trust me, I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
We asked them for things they could not afford, some of us pointed to the skies and ask for airplanes, not once did we think they could not afford them, why? Simply trust, deadly trust, we believed they could do all things.
Children, so awesome, we wish they will not grow up. But we all grow up, and are betrayed by those around us, and we decide not to trust anyone or are taught so. We extend this principle without limits to everyone even to God.
God is not a man, he will do what he says he will do, and with him all things are possible. But we must trust him as children trust their parents. He has never failed anyone and will not begin with you.
Trusting God, is trusting his word, his process, his plans, his timing. Knowing he is always with you in every situation. His plans for you and me are good and not evil.
There is no situation beyond his command, no condition he cannot change, No sickness he cannot heal, no evil report he cannot overwrite for your good.
…Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turnabout) and become like little children [TRUSTING, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all]. (Matt 18:3 AMP). Emphasis mine.
If you can turn again and trust God for that issue, that pain, that expectation, he will not fail you. Trust him to the end, tell him father I trust you for this. TRUST GOD FROM THE BOTTOM OF YOUR HEART; (Proverbs 3:5 MSG) and see him take control.
