And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans, (Romans 8:28TLB).The above scripture has been an anchor to my world.
Dear friend, the world in which we find ourselves is filled with many disappointments, shortcomings and betrayals from friends, family and foes alike. The earlier we realize this and know that our anchor is not in any man, woman or anything anywhere, the better for us.
In the past I used to be very annoyed when I faced disappointments from people, I could stay mad with people for a very long time. Then, I realized that it was only messing me up, what is the need of staying angry with a person, when the person probably does not even know or is simply living his or her life excitedly.
I realized that things don’t and will never always stay the same. This life is very dynamic, change is constant. You may appear to people today, as good for nothing and tomorrow you are good for everything. If you allow what men say or don’t say, do or don’t do for you to determine what happens in your life, it means you don’t understand the above scriptures.
Brace up my friend, that heartbreak holds the key to your happiness. That no, is the missing link to discovering who you really are. You thought that business was the perfect one for you, wait and see what comes next. I am sorry you lost a child, but trust me, God is working out something that will wipe away your tears. Exams did not go well for you, wait my friend, be still and know God Is.
See with God, come with the good, the bad and the ugly, and watch him fix you a cocktail that will make you scream like the governor at the feast at Canaan, "This is wonderful stuff!" he said. "You're different from most. Usually a host uses the best wine first, and afterwards, when everyone is full and doesn't care, then he brings out the less expensive brands. But you have kept the best for the last!" (John 2:10 TLB)
