When it all falls down, when the center cannot hold and
things fall apart. When you look to all who you love and will die for over and
over again and they are nowhere to be found. Drowning in your pain, fear and
worries, and all you need is that straw to clutch, so you can breathe, so you
can live.
Have you been there before? Maybe you are there now, I have
been there, and many have been there and survived. You too will survive.
David was in your shoes, too bad his men thought of killing
him, (1 Samuel 30). Job also, it was more like a domino effect of misery. Jesus
on the night He was betrayed was deserted by his friends.
What did David, Job and Jesus do to overcome the fear, pain
and weight of the world on their shoulders? They all ran to their stronghold –“Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners
of hope” (Zechariah 9:12 KJV).
David –“But David
encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God.” (1 Sam 30:6 AMP)
Job said –“I know that
my Redeemer lives,” (Job 19:25 NIV).
Jesus –He went forward
a little, and fell face downward on the ground, and prayed, "My Father! If
it is possible, let this cup be taken away from me. But I want your will, not
mine." (Matthew 26:39 TLB).
When every visible force in family, friends and foe has
failed you, don’t hesitate to run to the invisible but ever present God. Find
strength in him, Look back on and count His faithfulness towards you, this will
strengthen you.
WHEN MEN SAY THERE IS A
CAST DOWN, SAY THERE IS A LIFTING UP!
GO ACHIEVE
