I heard someone once, he said, “If unbelievers agree with everything you do all the time, then you are
not walking in faith”.
Faith, the response of man’s spirit to the word of God. It
means faith answers to the word of God. It also means faith acts on the word of
God. Fear, a distressing emotion aroused
by impending danger, evil, pain etc., whether the threat is real or imagined.
Faith and fear, never
two sides of the same coin, there is a great gulf between them. One thrives on the revelation of God’s
word the other on emotions. Faith says, God said it, I believe it and am no
longer worried about it. Fear says, God says it, I believe it but, what if?
Faith says, this is what God’s word says concerning this
circumstance so I am not accepting otherwise. Fear says this is how everyone
has been doing it, I will just follow suit.
Recently, God said to me, in my spirit, “FAITH IS NOT CONVENTIONAL”, fear is. Faith in God is not working
on generally accepted rules or principles. It does not thrive on people’s
opinions, it is alive only in God’s word.
If you want to walk in
faith, then be ready to go alone, because most of the time no one will be
willing to go with you, simply because it is not the norm. Take a look at Hebrew 11 and see
what faith truly is, none of the heroes of faith walked the isle of the
conventional.
For so long now, you have believed God for that concern of
yours and nothing seems to be happening. Take a review of things, go a step
further, act on your believes, for this is faith. Believing is not all there
is, “Are there still some among you who
hold that "only believing" is enough? Believing in one God? Well,
remember that the demons believe this too-so strongly that they tremble in
terror!” (James 2:19TLB)
Stop seeking, men’s
approval on your faith walk, except your faith is in them. If your faith is in God, then why
not rely only on what His word says. REMEMBER
FAITH IS NOT CONVENTIONAL FEAR IS.
GO ACHIEVE
