Hello friends, it’s my pleasure to welcome you into another
week filled with great things to do and achieve. Sure, the past week was a good
one, if not, here is another one to make better. Today, I write to you on THE BEAUTY IN REJECTION, yes rejection,
in one way or the other we have been rejected. Maybe our ideas or as a person
we have experienced rejection.
Many if not all of us will be familiar with words such as “I
need to work on myself, so I can’t continue with this relationship”, “you are
not the problem, it’s not you, it’s me, I don’t want to hurt you”, “you are
good for the job but my hands are tied”, “I wish things were less complicated”
and so on. Endless statements that point to rejection.
We dread rejection, in fact the fear of being rejected keeps
us away from going after the things we so desire. Many of us are not in
relationships now, tired of looking for jobs, we have stopped being inventive
and creative all because someone rejected us by ending a relationship, an
employer said no to us, or our inventions were laughed at or straightly
rejected.
At this point I want you to know that being rejected does not
mean you are no good, so stop feeling like a looser. It’s all about perspective, do you
see rejection as a dead end or an opportunity to start something better, to
actually do better. You can choose to focus on the downside and remain pitiful
or see the positive side, which in itself is an opportunity. “it’s
all about realizing that a “no” right now could lead to a better “yes” in the
future.”
Most importantly, know it’s just a perspective of you or your
idea, not that anything is wrong with you. You may find it easy to sulk when
rejected, which will do you no good, but experiences like these let you know
what you want and don’t want in life. Let
rejection fuel you to succeed and not fail.
GO ACHIEVE
