Hello
friends, welcome to another exciting week, with great things to do. This week
we continue with what we started last week, the beauty in rejection. With focus on “the beauty in rejection when in a relationship”.
I am so
hurt, I can feel the pain on my chest, it starts like it’s not there and
suddenly it hurts so bad I felt my heart will soon stop. My heart pounds faster
than a woodpecker can peck for a second. My hands are wet with sweat, it felt
like I just finished washing and forgot to dry my hands. It’s almost 9pm and am
yet to eat a thing, where is sleep? Like Macbeth, I think I have murdered
sleep. I have lost interest in everything.
If you have
ever been rejected, you will be familiar with the above features. At this point
you feel worthless, abandoned and of course rejected. There’s absolutely
nothing to worry about, it is normal for you to feel this way. You see yourself
as worthless because you value yourself to worth more with the one that jilted
you.
You feel
your world has come to an end only because you see him or her as the pivot of
your life. Obviously you have built a world together or dream of one together,
I just want you to know that you are not worthless without this person and your
world is not ending now, you have come too far to end your life like this.
At this
point, I want you to accept that you are grieving, which is also normal.
For our present troubles are small and won't last very long.
Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last
forever! (2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT)
Learn to divert your attention away
from negative thoughts, this will not come easy but you have to take the bitter
pill and win. (Philippians 4:8 KJV). You will need family and friends to help out, it will help
you reengage yourself with things you enjoyed before now.
One of the things we all dread at
this point is the loneliness, but truth is this alone time can help you sit
back and think about what you really want and don’t want in life. The mistakes you made, the things
you did right and how to be better next time. Sure, you will find another who will accept you. Yeah, you will.
Finally, I have
saved the best for the last, God wants to help you take the burden away, it doesn’t
matter how wrong your relationship was in the site of God, let’s say it was, he
still wants to help you.( 1 Peter 5:7
KJV). Let the Holy Spirit comfort you. Pray to God now in Jesus name and
receive peace and comfort. You are priceless,
don’t let anyone put you down. Your best is just beginning.
GO ACHIEVE
