Welcome to a new beginning, this week shall be for you a
portal to a whole new world. You can begin by not looking at or leaving in the
past, I guess that’s the reason it is called the past. This week I write on “WHEN LIFE THROWS BRICKS AT YOU, BECOME A
MASON”
A stonemason is one who lays any combination of stones,
cinder blocks, and bricks in construction of building walls and other works.
For the sake of this write up understand that bricks here means any of life
challenges, and we know they come in different packs and sizes, they may be
emotional, physical, spiritual or even financial.
Now, it is inevitable for you not to face diverse challenges.
Offences must come, but you must learn to see light in them, learn to see every
challenge as a potential building block to build up yourself. Know this, every challenge in its self
carries the power for transformation, it is as if these troubles we face in
life are the building blocks of our future, for of a truth, how we manage each
test, how we come out of it, broken yet standing or broken and out determines
our future.
Personally, in my life, prior to having this knowledge,
challenges come and go like waves on a sea shore without me stopping to see
what lies in it for me, for my growth, how can I get better when am done with
this. Most of the world’s famous innovations were born out of challenges not
comfort. So, these days as I go through
any challenge, I endeavor to see the bricks in them and build me a portion of
tomorrow, let’s say a wall or passage way in my tomorrow. most times, we live life on the fast lane that we need these bricks(challenges) to slow us down, so we can think right.
If you can live this
way, you will smile most of the times through challenges, you will see the
bricks for the future you dream of, and you will set down and build as a master
mason. This kind of
life is possible when you know all things can work for you. Take a look at
this, “And we know that all that happens
to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans.”
(Romans 8:28 TLB).
