Hello friends, ready for the new week? Am excited about this
week most especially because am expecting great results, what about you? Remember,
what you don’t expect almost doesn’t come your way 99.9 out of 100 times. So have
great expectations this week, surely it is better than last week. For it only
gets better.
This week we continue on the same path of TRAINING FOR
REIGNING and we will be talking about TRAIN TO GIVE. I am sure you have heard
people say things like “I don’t know how
to give”, “I don’t have the grace to give”, “I don’t have what to give”,
and many other negative words concerning giving. And for many they say things
like “nobody gave me anything, so I owe
no one anything”, “all I have I got myself and for myself”.
I like to always stress that everything about our life hinges
on “choice”. Giving is not exempted friends, yes there is something called the “giving
grace” but, you must show the willingness to give before the grace to give
comes on you. Grace is an empowerment, an enablement that facilitates that
which you have already made a choice to do.
Now, we must train in giving, the human nature always wants
to receive. Receiving is good but more beautiful is giving. 'It is more blessed to give than to
receive. (Acts 20:35 NIV), 'You're far happier giving than getting.' (Acts
20:35 MSG). And
most times people want to start giving by giving big things, it is almost
impossible to walk this way, you must start small in other to do big in every
beautiful thing in life.
Until you are faithful
in little don’t expect the big. And also whenever people here “giving” all they think of is
money, money is almost the least important thing we can give. You can give your
time, you can give a shoulder to a friend to lean on, you can give a smile, you
can give a good advice, and you can give a hug. This things are
priceless.
So you see, not only in money that we find giving, learn to
give these little things and when it is time to give money it will come
naturally. Learn to give more than you crave receiving. “No one has ever become poor by
giving”- Anne Frank. “If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one” –Mother
Teresa.
GO ACHIEVE
