TRUST

Welcome to a glorious decade dear one!

It's a new year and resolutions have been made. Plans have been thought through and all that's left is to carry them out. For some of us, the Lord has told us what He would like to do in us, with us and through us for this year which may probably seem like a whole lot. Some even have you hyperventilating. What the Lord wants you to do is to lay it all down and trust in Him. Remember He gave you the ideas. For there is a Spirit in a believer that gives him inspiration - He is the Holy Spirit. If he has birthed these plans within your heart or given you something to look forward to at the end of the year, shouldn't you also trust Him to bring them to pass?

As believers we have this assurance for our souls - that we never walk alone. The one who made the universe, this very cosmos, resides in us and He's working everything out for our good because we love Him and he has called us according to His divine purpose. 

Dear believer, our Father and Lord has a plan for your life. He made you! He knows the gifts within you, how you can express them, and just how far they can go - He planted them there Himself. Know this one thing, that God has specially handcrafted you for His pleasure and He wants you to imagine Him in your mind's eye leading you from within and at the same time holding your hands and standing before you as a shield. 

Finally beloved of the Father:

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him and he shall make your paths straight."[Proverbs 3:5-6, New International Version; emphasis, mine]

It doesn't matter how things had turned out before. Still trust in the Lord that He'll always do what's best for you and for others. It doesn't matter if you've never tried out this venture you're about to undertake. The Father knows how it's going to turn out. Trust Him with your life. It really doesn't matter if you've been battling with addictions for years, struggling time after time to stay afloat. Trust the source of all power to quicken your body by His Spirit and show you how to overcome. Live life with the mindset that there's someone greater running your life. Trust in Him! 

CONFESSION: I, (input your name), am never alone. Jesus walks with me. His Spirit lives within, and I am continuallybefore the Father, the details of my life inscribed upon His palm. I learn to trust him more daily. My heart learns to depend solely on God.
