You find yourself at a service point, let's say the accident and emergency unit of the hospital where you work, and kids A and B were rushed in at the same time.
Kid A was of a rich family and B of a poor one. Will you follow the routine procedure such as triaging or will you pick the rich over the poor or the poor over the rich?
You hold the rich in high esteem, you honor them, you look up to them, that's great. Do you do same to the lower class, the poor?
The world we live in today, it's common to size people and treat them accordingly. Some will tilt to favour the rich, Others for sympathy the poor.
I dare to differ and to show you a more excellent way, everyone merits the same care and respect that is deserving of a human.
My friends, as believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, you must never treat people in different ways according to their outward appearance. (James 2:1 GNT).
We are careful not to judge people by what they seem to be, though we once judged Christ in this way. (2 Corinthians 5:16 CEV).
We should learn to treat everyone as we love to be treated if found in their shoes. We are to love people of all race, tribe or religion before we get to know about them. We are first humans before our personality.
I know it comes easy to address people the way they are dressed, remember the clothe does not make the man.
