YOU HAVE STOPPED GROWING?

No one was born an adult, we were all born as babies. Babies are lovely, so cute, we don't want them to lose their cuteness, sometimes we wish they will never grow up, hilarious as it seems.

But a baby is expected to grow, it is only natural that he or she grows. From a neonate to an infant, to preschool child, to toddler, the child continues  to grow with a destination of becoming a full grown man or woman.

We must at this point say here that as physical growth is expected of us, so also mental and spiritual growth is mandatory.

As oppose to physical growth which ceases at a particular age, mental and spiritual growth is continuous.

Our minds need constant schooling and re-schooling to build capacity. For to the degree of capacity we have built our minds to, is the same degree we will function.

And the mind never stops growing. It is built for constant renewing.

The same goes for spiritual growth. Man is in continuous  discovery and rediscovery of himself in Christ. We are in a continuous revelation of ourselves in him till we all come to the fullness of the stature of Christ. Simply put, till we become in every inch Christ.

Please note, none of these growth is to be done in isolation. When one outweighs the other, you can liken it to driving a car with one flat tire, you can't go far. Chances are you will not attain your goal.

“And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].” (ROMANS‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭AMP‬‬)
