THE PROVERBS 31 MAN AND WOMAN?  ~ THE MAN IN CHRIST 



So much has been said about being the proverbs 31 man and woman, very good. But there is a man bigger, better and greater than the proverbs 31 character or personality. The man in Christ~ by man in Christ, I mean man and woman in Christ.

Rather than dwell on the past, I will give expressions to my current status. It is better to speak from where I am now than where I was, for if where I was, was good enough it will not be in past tense, "was" .

“ By coming up with a new plan, a new covenant between God and his people, God put the old plan on the shelf. And there it stays, gathering dust.” (Hebrews‬

You remember what Jesus said, comparing the old and the new? 

Let me remind you; “Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” (Matthew‬

In the above scripture, John the Baptist stood, representing everybody under the law and prophet including the proverbs 31 man and woman, Jesus said, the least in the Kingdom of heaven, is greater than him. Only the new creation man, the man in Christ can partake of the kingdom of heaven. 

It means everyone you have ever admired or pattern your life after from the old covenant cannot be compared to you as the man in Christ. Ruth, Deborah, Esther, Naomi, the proverbs 31 woman, Joseph, Daniel, the 3 Hebrew boys and the proverbs 31 man. 

With the old covenant, the proverbs 31 man or woman was the height of beauty to be desired, the character to become, but the new creation man, the man in Christ, with the very nature of God is heaven walking on two feet, he is Christ on earth.

Why do we still seek the good when we are the best? Why do we feel happier when we are seen and admired in the eyes of the proverbs 31 persona when as the man in Christ we are the best thing God ever created. One with God, divine in every sense and yet man.

Finally, Jesus talking about himself said (and we were in him); " agreater than Solomon is here... "a greater than Jonah is here" 

I am not the proverbs 31 persona, I AM THE MAN IN CHRIST.
