So, we agreed last week that life is unfair due to the imbalance created by Adam’s disobedient to God’s instruction not to eat of the fruit, by this act of disobedience man was set in motion foran unfair life. Since then, nothing remained the same again.
Ever since, the creature longs for a balance in the world, for a fair life, they wait earnestly for the manifestation of the sons of God, for they know the lost glory can only be returned by a man, since a man lost it.
Right there in the garden, God began the work for the redemption of everything man lost, the fair life included. He encapsulated it in salvation, to be found in a man, (since a man lost it), the man Jesus Christ. The first man, Adam, lost the glory, the glorious life, the fair life. The last Adam, Jesus Christ, restored the glory, the glorious life, the fair life.
Everyone who accepts Christ, though in the world, cease to become of this world by accepting the salvation that Jesus brings; CHRIST REDEEMED US FROM THAT SELF-DEFEATING, CURSED LIFE BY ABSORBING IT COMPLETELY INTO HIMSELF (Galatians 3:13 MSG).
NOT ONLY THAT, BUT ALL THE BROKEN AND DISLOCATED PIECES OF THE UNIVERSE — PEOPLE AND THINGS, ANIMALS AND ATOMS — GET PROPERLY FIXED AND FIT TOGETHER IN VIBRANT HARMONIES, ALL BECAUSE OF HIS DEATH, HIS BLOOD THAT POURED DOWN FROM THE CROSS (Colossians 1:20MSG).
Dear friends, if what was broken, what was lost, that made life unfair has been fixed and we have been reconciled by the death and resurrection of the man Jesus Christ and the offering of himself by the eternal Spirit in heaven. Why do we say life is unfair?
YOU SEE, IT IS UNFAIR FOR A BELIEVER TO SAY LIFE IS UNFAIR. Life may be unfair for the world and those belonging to it, but not for you that is in Christ. If you say life is unfair, its either you are ignorant of who you are or you are simply saying the life of Christ is broken and out of balance.
How can you whom God foreknew and predestinated to be conformed to the image of his Son, you whom he also called and justified and glorified, (Roman 8:29-30) say life is unfair.
GO ACHIEVE
