Hello friends, welcome to another great week. I know you are achieving
great things, keep striving for the best and you will only see the best.
Last week I wrote on the topic, “IN ALL THINE GETTING, GET
MONEY” and trust me it raised many eyebrows. Many agreed with me and yet many
thought otherwise.
Today, I will like to point to you again how important it is
to have money, not just having enough to feed trice daily, but enough to feed a
village.
Have you read about the Good Samaritan? If not see Luke
10:30-37 KJV, I told you last week, he couldn’t have been able to take care of
the man that was attacked by robbers on his way from Jerusalem to Jericho. He did
not only clean the man up, he went further to pay for his accommodation and
made arrangements to pay for any extra expenses on his return. He had money and
it made it easier for him to do all he did.
It is not a sin to have money, get money, not just enough to
eat but more to give. What is the essence of having enough to eat alone? It is
God’s will for us to prosper in all we do, even in the place of our finances. He
said; “Beloved, I wish above all things
that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”(3 John
2KJV).
“Cry yet, saying, thus saith the Lord of hosts; my cities through prosperity shall yet be
spread abroad; and the Lord shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose
Jerusalem.” (Zechariah 1:17 KJV). Another importance of having money not just
to eat alone, get enough so you can spread the word of God around. For until
you have more than money for meals, you will most likely find it difficult to
give towards the gospel.
Finally, a feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry:
but money answereth all things. (Ecclesiastes
10:19 KJV). Do deals, make genuine money, it is scriptural to be financially buoyant.
