Hello friends,
doing great? Every challenge is a necessary platform to get stronger and better
immune for further life challenges. I begin today with a story my elder brother
once told me, about a frog. In the land of the frogs, a group of frogs decided
to undertake a task of climbing to the top of the highest mountain in their
village. This feat has not been achieved by anyone before and the story is,
that it is impossible.
So the day
came for this task and the frogs willing to go the journey stepped up and soon
enough the race to make it to the top started. And every frog was determined to
finish. Soon the whole village were shouting “stop stop, no one can do it, you
guys will die” and over half of the frogs that started quit the race.
The villagers
kept screaming “stop stop, no one has ever done this, you guys will die” more
frogs stopped the race, listening to the crowd. Finally only one frog made it
to the top of the mountain. And was highly celebrated, everyone came to the
frog champion to ask him how it did it. Then everyone found that the frog was
deaf, so could not hear when the whole villagers were screaming “stop stop”.
Moral of the story is don’t pay
attention to negative voices and circumstances that are screaming that you quit. Many a times we find ourselves in
unpleasant circumstances that try to extinguish us, that makes us feel we are
finished or that we are not able to go on. Like the deaf frog, close your ears
to these negative experiences and circumstances, don’t let them stop you.
If you focus
on these negative circumstances, they will certainly slow you down, so drop
them. How wonderful, Jesus wants to bear them for you; Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. (1 Pete
5:7 NLT). Let him have all your worries
and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that
concerns you. (1 Peter 5:7 TLB).
Many times
we claim to drop our worries on Jesus, yet we still worry about this things. Remember
as children when we cry to our parents, seeking a thing and they promise to
make such available, we quit crying and go playing with our friends freely. This
is so because we trust our parents will do as they say. If our earthly parents,
that are limited can give us such assurance what about the almighty Father? Let’s
learn to trust God as a child will trust his parents to take care of issues for
him.
Finally, don’t
let your circumstances get to you, to the point where they fill your very soul
and all of you. Remember this “ships don’t sink because of the
water around them; ships sink because of the water that get in them. Don’t let what’s
happening around you get inside you and weigh you down”.
GO ACHIEVE FRIEND!!!
