Peace is not the absence of troubles. If it was, no one would ever be at peace in this world, as we are daily encountering troubles in this present world.
Peace is being surrounded by troubles but not allowing the troubles to have you. It is facing the storm yet, walking on water and not drowning.
Peace is when you are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; you are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but you know you are not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;”
Peace is a person; Jesus.
All who trust in Jesus have this peace. Beyond what the world calls peace.
Why are some believers not experiencing this Peace?
They have failed to understand the motion of this peace.
This peace is operational in all who set their minds on Jesus. To take your eyes of Jesus, is to deny the peace in you.
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
Isaiah 26:3 KJV
I encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. Let your mind stay on him through your tough days and he will be your perfect peace.
