A wise man once said, “even the best plans need revisiting”. It means no matter how good your plans are you need to regularly go over them again, and this must be in line with the current happenings on ground.
Let’s say you are planning to create 150,000 Jobs for your state and you call for people without jobs and 2,000,000 job hunters show up. Wisdom demands that you restratigize if you want to have the best impact.
Planning and re-planning will give you the opportunity to upgrade your findings, to get the best and to stay malleable;one quality that is desired for success.
As the year comes to an end, smart people will start taking stock of what they have been able to achieve thus far. Wise ones will start planning for the new year too.
My advice to you is this, as you plan, do not ever think any plan is fixed or too good that you can’t revisit it. Be bold. Many times revisiting it will mean taking off everything and starting all over again.
As you plan and re-plan, let your prayers fuel it. Don’t just plan, but pray as you plan. So you don’t just forecast with head knowledge. In praying we bring in superior wisdom. We become co-planners with God.
“So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God." [2 Chronicles 27:6, KJV]
Jotham recognized the place of God in his dealings with men and he became mighty.
As you begin to take stock of the year 2019 and put plans on paper for year 2020, take time out to pray for the coming year. Bring in divine wisdom as you go. God is not a stranger to 2020, he knows better. Take advantage of his love and win.
Plan, Plan, Re-plan and never forget to pray your plans out.
