WHAT MAKES GOD SMILE

COMPENDIUM~EPILOGUE
For some weeks now we have carefully examined the relationship between the thoughts of our hearts, the words we speak and the tangible realities we will live in.
Take a look at Numbers 13:31-32, 14:1-3
The word of God makes us to understand
So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).
Romans 10:17 AMPC
One of the ways fear or faith is implanted in our heart is through HEARING.
What have you tuned your ears to? The truth of God's word which produces faith or hearsay of men which produces fear?
Why not take an introspective look at your life? Whose voice have you made the loudest in your life? What do their words do to you? Do they activate things on your inside? Are they in line with God's word?
It is said that the eyes are the window to the soul. Truer words were never said because the eyes do not just signify the literal sense of vision but they also serve as gates to the heart.
Remember David and Bathsheba, Uriah’s wife?
2 Samuel 11:1-5
What have you opened the window of your soul to?
It has the capacity to make or mar not just your destiny but that of your world and generations unborn.
The words you hear and the things you see find their way to your heart and become the building blocks of your future. You must take a conscious step to man these gates— your ears and eyes, in other to secure your future.
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.”
Proverbs 4:23-27 KJV

THE COMPENDIUM PART 4: 24th WEEK OF THE YEAR
I show you this fundamental truth, it is not just what we say with our words but what is sitted in our hearts. The heart can’t contain one thing and the mouth is saying another and we hope to see what the mouth is saying.
But note, there is no idle word. Every word spoken has an impact on life; yours or another’s.
The things that show up in your life are first a product of the things in your heart, then your mouth—as in your words.
Three steps: Heart, words and tangible reality. The first two must be in sync for the last to manifest what is said.
“O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”
Matthew 12:34-37 KJV
From this scripture alone we see the connection between the heart, words and reality—what we see, in this case “good things or evil things, and how they all emanate first from the heart.
The judgement referred to here is not the last day but a day when your words will manifest or materialise. And this can happen any day, while you are alive or dead.
When you keep talking about fear, sickness, defeat, they materialise as your judgement. And it’s not God that judged you, you've just sentenced yourself. In the same way, when as a believer in Christ, you speak life, health and grace, you will see all these come to pass.
Be careful of the danger of words that have no connection with your hearts if you must harness the power of your words. And no words are without consequences.
It is possible to say one thing and have your heart harbouring another.
Let me show you something, how the heart and words can be divergent.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.”
Proverbs 23:7 KJV
Don’t rush this verse; it is not saying as you think you become, for if it was so, wishes will be horses and beggars will ride.
The above verse is showing the state of the heart as opposed to the words spoken. It points to the real state of the man, his heart first, before his words.
Finally friends, what are you saying, what are you creating? For every word communicates creation- a reality. And all of these emanates or is powered from the heart.

THE COMPENDIUM PART 3: 23rd WEEK OF THE YEAR
"Everywhere just dry"
"This situation is hopeless, no need to pray anymore. Let me just manage"
"Nigeria is finished."
How powerful are words?
MOSES AND THE 12 SPIES
Moses sent them to scout out the land of Canaan, and said to them, Get up this way by the South (the Negeb) and go up into the hill country, And see what the land is and whether the people who dwell there are strong or weak, few or many,
Numbers 13:17-18 AMPC
12 men went out to spy on the said land and came back with two different reports. 10 of the men spoke of fear and defeat while Caleb and Joshua reported possibilities and victory.
Apparently they had seen the land but the occupants appeared insurmountable. Was Caleb trying to give his Jewish version of "I have a dream" to boost his career as a future civil rights leader or politician. No! Caleb was informed. He knew the promise that God had given to his forefathers and he allowed that knowledge to influence what he said.
Caleb and Joshua still try to convince the people
Only do not rebel against the Lord, neither fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their defence and the shadow [of protection] is removed from over them, but the Lord is with us. Fear them not.
Numbers 14:9 AMPC
What a language! What a confession!
First, observe closely what they called the giants of Anak- bread! Some men called the Anakites bread while these two called them Bread. What are you calling your challenges today? How do you see challenges today
Why did they call them bread?
"The Lord is with us. fear not"
The Lord spoke,
"Tell them, As I live, says the Lord, what you have said in My hearing I will do to you:
Remember, “what they have said” will become.
What are you saying?
Your words will create your future.
Stop speaking foolishly and in fear.
You will get what you say.
A lesson here is that our faith, words and profession are contagious. In this era of tiktok memes, Instagram reels and Whatsapp statuses we are to be careful of what we are churning out to our respective audience and what we are also receiving. Be careful to discern what you watch and what you post.

THE COMPENDIUM Part 2—22nd WEEK OF THE YEAR.
We continue our summary of all we have been teaching this year on words, it’s use and potency.
The intent of God as revealed in the word he spoke is for man to represent him on the earth—"let them have dominion in the earth.”
This means, man is in charge on the earth, and is therefore responsible for everything that happens or doesn't happen on the earth.
If the earth will prosper, be peaceful, or united depends on man not God. God does not create wars, man does. The same way God did not create cars, men did.
Another example of man’s ability as the image of God on the earth is that he has God’s power to create with his words. In the beginning God said and it was, afterwards and till today, man is speaking and it is.
Just as God said and it became, Adam too said—by his words, all living creatures were named.
Genesis 2:19-20 KJV
We also established that the primary reason for words is not to communicate as we know it today, but to create. At best, the primary use of words is to initiate or convey creation. Thus the vehicle for creation are words. This is a fundamental principle, you say what you want to see.
In the world we live in, this truth has been watered down as man has relegated words to just a means of passing information from one person to another. Today, when men hear words like “be careful what you say for you will have it” they laugh over it or brush it aside.
“Fools have no desire to learn, instead they would rather give their own opinion.”
Proverbs 18:2 CEV
Be willing to learn and unlearn.
“Words are able to save life and to cause death. So you must accept the result of what you say.”
Proverbs 18:21 EASY
“Words can bring death or life! Talk too much, and you will eat everything you say.”
Proverbs 18:21 CEV
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life].”
Proverbs 18:21 AMPC
There is no way you will miss this. Your words are the vehicle conveying life or death to you. You must know this.
Since words are this powerful and primarily the vehicle for creation. What are you saying, what are you creating?

THE COMPENDIUM—21st WEEK OF THE YEAR.
For 21 of the 24 weeks of this year we have shared around one thing—words.
Foundations always hold the truth about any and everything, knowing this, we shared with you the foundational truth on building and having the desired year and life in general.
Knowing the early verses of Genesis and John talk about the foundation of all things, we studied a few verses on the word and words generally and found that before there was the beginning, the heavens and the earth; there was a dateless, sourceless, not created God, called the word.
Aligning Moses' and John’s writing together. we can boldly infer thus without being wrong; IN THE BEGINNING THE WORD CREATED THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH.
From Moses the first act of God in creation as it were is “And God said”.
This means when John said “All things were made by the word”: by implication he meant: And the word said!
And God said.
And the word said.
It is clear that God’s instrumentality for the creation of the earth and its inhabitants was words. God spoke and his expressions came to be.
In the speaking of God we found the appearance of what he wanted. This means that God’s word has the ability to become what it says.
It is clear that the vehicle for creation as seen in the beginning is word. God’s word is creative.
I believe that the smallest particle or the fundamental particle in nature is not the atom, quarks or even the electron, it is the creative word of God.
We saw that man was made in the image of God.
A close study on the phrase “image of God” shows that man was made to represent God. The intent of God as revealed in the word he spoke is for man to represent him on the earth—"let them have dominion in the earth."
To have dominion on and over everything upon the earth is simply to take charge over the earth, to run the earth, to subdue it, i.e to make the earth submitted to the will of man. So much so that whatever man allows on the earth is allowed by God, such is the dominion God gave man by speaking to him.
No other creation of God has this ability, all others are subject to man. On earth, man is god over all.
God, the creator of the heaven and the earth, man the god over his creations on the earth—made possible because God said.
To be continued next week.
