THE COMPENDIUM PART 4: 24th WEEK OF THE YEAR

I show you this fundamental truth, it is not just what we say with our words but what is sitted in our hearts. The heart can’t contain one thing and the mouth is saying another and we hope to see what the mouth is saying.

But note, there is no idle word. Every word spoken has an impact on life; yours or another’s.

The things that show up in your life are first a product of the things in your heart, then your mouth—as in your words.

Three steps: Heart, words and tangible reality. The first two must be in sync for the last to manifest what is said.

“O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12:34-37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

From this scripture alone we see the connection between the heart, words and reality—what we see, in this case “good things or evil things, and how they all emanate first from the heart.

The judgement referred to here is not the last day but a day when your words will manifest or materialise. And this can happen any day, while you are alive or dead.

When you keep talking about fear, sickness, defeat, they materialise as your judgement. And it’s not God that judged you, you've just sentenced yourself. In the same way, when as a believer in Christ, you speak life, health and grace, you will see all these come to pass.

Be careful of the danger of words that have no connection with your hearts if you must harness the power of your words. And no words are without consequences.

It is possible to say one thing and have your heart harbouring another.

Let me show you something, how the heart and words can be divergent.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭23:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Don’t rush this verse; it is not saying as you think you become, for if it was so, wishes will be horses and beggars will ride.

The above verse is showing the state of the heart as opposed to the words spoken. It points to the real state of the man, his heart first, before his words.

Finally friends, what are you saying, what are you creating? For every word communicates creation- a reality. And all of these emanates or is powered from the heart.
