THE HEART IS MORE VALUABLE THAN AN OIL WELL

Words which do not reflect your heart's intents are ineffective. It’s like shooting without aiming, you are bound to miss the target. Most often than not, stray bullets do more damage than good.

 

Three steps: Heart, words and tangible reality. The first two must be in sync for the last to manifest what is said.

 

Many times people give all their attention to having a tangible reality, a handful watch what they say, and majority don’t ever give a thought to the content of their heart.

 

The importance of the heart in what a man becomes or experience in life must be appreciated if the man must live a fulfilled life.

 

Still on the importance of the heart: the Bible says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

We see the extent to which the tongue is powerful—life and death is under its immediate control. Referring to the words we speak.

 

But also the Bible says: “for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:45‬ ‭KJV‬‬

 

See how NLT puts it: “What you say flows from what is in your heart.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:45‬ ‭NLT‬‬

 

As powerful as the tongue is, it draws its strength, its inspiration from the heart. The words the mouth speaks without truly expressing the state of the heart are issed shots as long as the target is concerned.

 

Again, every stray bullet hits a target, just not the desired. The words you speak which do not reflect the posture of your heart will definitely have an impact on you or another.

 

There is no idle word. Every word spoken has an impact on life; yours or another’s.

 

Remember, the heart in discuss here is not medical- that which pumps blood in your body. Our usage of the heart here captures the inner self, the seat of wisdom and understanding. Where our thoughts emanate from.

 

Now you know the place of the heart over what you say and your reality.
