ONE WITH HIM

“You light the biggest fire when you know God camps in you”, these words hit me like a strong wind would on a stormy day, with attempts to sweep my feet off the ground and at the same time with all gentleness found its way into my heart, ministering truth to me.

The above words I heard yesterday in church, as the spoken word minister poured his heart out.

It speaks of the oneness we have with God, for as many that have received him have become one with him, partners in everything.


On our own, we can do nothing “...for without me ye can do nothing.” (John‬ ‭15:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

This scripture comes alive in me, hearing the words of the minister. You know another scripture that comes to mind? ~ “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter‬ ‭1:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬).

So, having Christ in me makes me to be one with him, sharing his very nature. As he is divine, so am I, what he is capable of by reason of his nature I am capable of.

Now, with this understanding, I need you to picture the height you have attained by having Jesus Christ in you.

It means what cannot defeat God cannot defeat you. What scares God should scare you, and we know nothing of such exist, so why is fear your default setting?

As you go this week, please remember, you and God make the biggest fire. You are more than five and six, you are one. What cannot trouble God should not troubled you. You are a success everyday.
