IT IS FINISHED

We can argue if making New Year resolutions are necessary or not, if it makes any difference where we spend the last moments of the year, in church, a drinking bar or at home. Or we can go on to inspire one another to grow, to evolve , to attain new heights, to be transformed in our soul. I choose the latter.

Exactly two years ago today, we started diaries of hope, our first post was tittled “IF IT WILL BE, IT IS UP TO YOU” . We talked about how you alone have the power to become or not become your visions, dream or potentials. God will not make your dreams come through if you choose to do nothing about it, by nothing I mean work it out.


Allow me to resound the same message as we go into 2019, you alone can make or mar you. No matter what the world around you looks like, the people around you do, if you will unleash your potentials for 2019 or achieve anything worthwhile you must work it out.

When Jesus said; “IT IS FINISHED” (‭John‬ ‭19:30‬ ‭KJV‬‬), he removed every obstacle that could stop you from achieving your dreams. He made it possible for you to dream and achieve it. It was as if Jesus was saying; “son, am done, over to you”.

As we wrap up 2018 and usher in 2019, whether you find yourself in a church, a nightclub or you are at home, Jesus is screaming to you today, “IT IS FINISHED”. You don't have to repeat the same failures, delays, heartbreaks or loneliness you experienced in 2018 come 2019.

Rise up to the you that is strong, bold, fearless, visionary, insightful, a trail blazer, a pathfinder. To the healthy you, the never giving up you, the you that looks at the setbacks of 2018 and says “IT IS FINISHED”.
