TRY KINDNESS

"Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see" ~ Mark Twain

Kindness is a virtue deeply needed in our world. Everyone, big and small, rich and poor, the cruel and the benevolent, no one is immune to kindness. No one refutes it or can survive our world without it.

Each time we hear or read about kindness, one word follows it, "ACT". Kindness is not theoretical or passive but an action word. Act today, be kind to some one.

Erroneously, many people believe some people are not capable of the act of kindness. As much as we agree that we all need kindness, and appreciate it, we can show kindness to others.

Most people also, have no issues with showing kindness but, can only show it to those who have been kind to them, friends and family. Truly, kindness is best served when it is shown to strangers and those who can't return the act.

Jesus said, “If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?”
Matthew 5:46-47 NIV

I urge you today, be kind to people, better put, be kind to one person today. Carry out a random act of kindness with no expectation of reward.

Remember this, "you cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late" ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

As you go about today, know that "a warm smile is the universal language of kindness" ~ William Authur Ward
