THE STORM IN BETWEEN

The year is coming to an end, you started of the year with dreams and visions, you heard God, you believed him, you acted in faith but, looking at where you are now, it doesn’t look like what you saw at the beginning of the year, this is certainly not what God told you.

Are you sure you heard God right, did he say you will get married this year? Did he say you will have your child this year? Get a job this year or maybe start your business this year? All this questions are playing in your head. You have sown seeds, declared the words, fasted and prayed in other tongues and it seems the storms of life is not giving way.

Stop for a minute dear friend and let me remind you of this truth;

ONE DAY JESUS SAID TO HIS DISCIPLES, "LET'S GO OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LAKE." SO THEY GOT INTO A BOAT AND SET OUT. AS THEY SAILED, HE FELL ASLEEP. A SQUALL CAME DOWN ON THE LAKE, SO THAT THE BOAT WAS BEING SWAMPED, AND THEY WERE IN GREAT DANGER. THE DISCIPLES WENT AND WOKE HIM, SAYING, "MASTER, MASTER, WE'RE GOING TO DROWN! “HE GOT UP AND REBUKED THE WIND AND THE RAGING WATERS; THE STORM SUBSIDED, AND ALL WAS CALM. "WHERE IS YOUR FAITH?" HE ASKED HIS DISCIPLES. IN FEAR AND AMAZEMENT THEY ASKED ONE ANOTHER, "WHO IS THIS? HE COMMANDS EVEN THE WINDS AND THE WATER, AND THEY OBEY HIM."  THEY SAILED TO THE REGION OF THE GERASENES, (LUKE 8:22-26 NIV).

Jesus said let us go over to the other side and between the shore and the other side of the lake came the storm. Remember this so you don’t give up, the storms of life, like the one you may be going through now, many times come up just between you and your dream or vision.

You must remember that this does not mean you heard God wrongly or you don’t have faith, it is just the storms of life standing between you and the promise. Always remember Jesus is in the boat with you.

Remember “the end of the creature is the beginning of the creator” so when you hit your limit on anything remember you are not alone, Jesus is with you and you will surely get to the other side.

You know the storm offsetting you right now, trust Jesus and see him take you safely to the goal. Hold on, don’t give up now, you have come this far. LOOK, JUST NOW THE END IS HERE.
