Are you not tired of blaming everything and everybody around
you for not achieving your desires? Yes you, you have made it a safe haven to
run to when your desires don’t become.
It is common for us to point to this person and that person
as the reason we are not successful to the level we ought to be. Trust me, this
is the very reason you do not succeed, when what others do or don’t do becomes
the master stroke for you achieving your goals.
Understand me, I am not saying you don’t need assistance or
help from people as you run after purpose, visions and dreams, am strongly
saying you don’t look up to men to be your breakthrough or bring you
breakthrough.
It does not matter who the person is to you, father, mother,
wife, best friend, girlfriend, what have you? There is no man anywhere that is
your breakthrough, you and only you can determine if you fail or succeed.
For years you have been pointing fingers at those who refuse
to assist you get a job, WHEN WILL YOU
CREATE ONE? You lament the rate at which your friends ignore the fact that
you need and have been asking them for help, WHEN WILL YOU BECOME THE HELP THEY NEED?
Come on, it is time to realize this ancient truth, “IF YOU MUST SUCCEED IS UP TO YOU”. GET
UP, START NOW AND TAKE STEPS THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR PRESENT LEVEL, STOP
COMPLAINING. If you start making little progress here and there you will find
out that you will get all the help you will ever need.
This is what the Lord says:" CURSED IS THE ONE WHO TRUSTS IN MAN, who depends on flesh for his
strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord. He will be like a bush in
the wastelands; he will not see prosperity when it comes. He will dwell in the
parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.
"BUT BLESSED IS
THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN THE LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted
by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat
comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and
never fails to bear fruit." (Jeremiah
17:5-8 NIV).
